The Visual Business Analyst

 

A project where the planning, delivery and operational support of the project Business Outcomes are integrated with standard off the shelf tools into Visual Models needs a special Business Analyst.

Its not enough to draw up TO-BE process diagrams and list user stories separately. They need to be visually integrated so the impact that one has on the other can be continuously monitored.

Its not enough to just track the delivery of each user story and execution of each test case. These need to be always up-to date and accessible after go live to support continuous improvement.

Its not enough to draw up TO-BE process diagrams as part of project planning. There needs to be an always up-to date and accessible AS-BUILT process diagram that supports training and operational support.

If you haven't been receiving these Integrated Outcomes both through project delivery and into Business As Usual then you haven't worked with a Visual Business Analyst.
